Last Panto in Little Bandar
The production of the "Last Panto in Little Bandar" will take place Friday, November 18, at the D'Angerrek Hotel, in BSB.
It will be a Dinner Theatre Night, with a buffet provided. The cost is $20 per person.

Brunei Nature Society Lecture
Dr. A.K. Sharma will give a talk to the Brunei Nature Society on "Wave-migration and disease: Rafting skills or lessons in genetics?" on Tuesday 22nd November at 8.00pm in the Central Lecture Theatre, UBD. The talk will focus on the blood disease thalassaemia and possible exaplanations for the spread of this disease from its probable origin in the mediterranean region. The genetic basis of the disease and its
implications, particularly in SE Asia, will also be explored. Non-members of the Society are welcome to attend the talk, which will be followed by refreshments.

Toyota Classics 2005
Toyota Motor Corporation and NBT (Brunei) Sdn Bhd are sponsoring Toyota Classics 2005.
It will be a night of Hungarian Operetta performed by the Budapest Operetta Theatre Orchestra.
It will be held on Sunday 27th November at the International Convention Centre in Berakas. Tickets are priced between $30 and $150.
All proceeds will be donated to SMARTER Brunei and Special Olympics, Brunei Darussalam.

St Andrew's Ball - UPDATED
The St Andrew's society will not be having a ball in Miri this year but instead will have a chieftains dinner/dance at the Li Gong restaurant at the Empire Hotel on 19 Nov 2005.
The tickets are BN$50 each BYOB. there will be a full St Andrews programme including traditional Scottish dancing on the night.

We are departing Brunei after 20 years and my AMAH Shirley Detectio would like to transfer to a new position.
Shirley has been with us for over 11 years and mainly just looked after 2 adults, along with a Labrador dog, cat and various 20 parrots with no trouble. Also she minded the house and animals when we went on leave.
Shirley is completely reliable and willing to do any job called for.
We plan to depart Brunei end of December but are willing to transfer Shirley before hand if needed.
